Westlake Village Symphony Auditions:
1) The first step is to sit in and play at a WVS rehearsal to read through some of our concert repertoire with the orchestra.
2) After rehearsal, you and your section leader will talk about your experience level and together choose a scale and excerpt from one of the rehearsed pieces to prepare for the next week's rehearsal.
3) After sitting in with the orchestra for a second rehearsal, a short audition on your chosen excerpt and scale will take place that evening after the rest of the orchestra is excused. You will be notified of the results a day or two after the audition by phone or email.
